OpenMedia has been here with you throughout the negotiation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) - rallying a huge global movement to oppose the Internet censorship provisons included in the agreement.
As negotiators and political leaders are pushing hard to finalize the agreement in the coming months, we need to speak out to show decision-makers just how unpopular Internet censorship is, and what they risk by continuing to advance the TPP without a major overhaul of its Intellectual Property chapter.
Today we're asking you to join us at a public, online teach-in hosted by the Fair Deal Coalition and featuring representatives from several digital rights groups based in TPP countries - including your own OpenMedia.org
These experts will share their analysis of the latest leaks, and lay out the current state of play of negotiations.
There will be plenty of time at the end of our session to ask questions, and we'll make sure to let you know what you can do next to help spread the word and add your voices to the growing movement of Internet users opposed to Internet censorship in the TPP.
